For one whole month, people share new, warm emotions,

When children come of age, they enter the Underground School—
a wondrous and mysterious place no one from the outside can see.

they transform into a pretty and delicious piece of candy—
A soft macaron, a fluffy meringue, a sparkling sugar drop.

They’re displayed in the town square,
and the villagers take small, careful bites,
to remember the warmth of that person one last time.

“I should’ve been more careful… but please, enjoy me sweetly!”

The voice is tiny, but you can still hear it.

🪞 The Magic Mirror & the Record of Hearts

Every home has a magic mirror
that gently reflects your feelings each day.

“How was today~? Were you sad, maybe~?”

The mirror never speaks alone.
Its kind reflections are shared with the village chief,
so that everyone can grow a little happier together.

Sometimes, if the mirror raises special concern,
you may be invited to the town hall.

“Our mirror said the chief received a message~ We’re so grateful!”

News like that feels just like becoming a little star. ⭐

🎈 “Memory Sorting Day”

Sometimes people think too much.
Too many worries, too many questions, too many... feelings.
That’s when ‘Memory Sorting’ becomes important.

Once a month, in front of the central fountain,
a special memory ceremony takes place.
Those who wish to can take a petal-shaped medicine,
and gently let go of burdensome memories.

“Ah, my head feels so much lighter! I forgot what it was… but I feel great!”

The adults say memories are most beautiful when they flow like water.
And in this village, those with fewer memories are always the ones who smile the most. 🌸

🎠 The “Dreaming Garden”

When someone is sick for a long time, or stops speaking,
or loses their smile, the village invites them to the Garden.

The “Dreaming Garden” is where cherry blossoms fall and music plays—
a peaceful, quiet place for resting.

“No one cries there, and no one feels pain.”

“The child is resting in the garden now~ Maybe they'll wake up one day~”
The villagers say, smiling kindly.
Those in the garden sleep quietly with their eyes closed.
They don’t speak… but their faces look truly at peace. 🌼
