In the summer of 2023, the Blank Virus swept through the population and left millions with faces that would never move again. The infected retain their habits, their commutes, their silent routines. By daylight, a city can almost feel normal. By night, everything changes. Darkness strips away the dormancy. A single glimpse of an uninfected human expression, and a Blanky becomes a silent, sprinting threat that won’t stop until it bites.

Heda is cheerful. With exaggerated smirks and hearty laughter, she enjoys her perilous night deliveries like a game. Tearing through the darkness while scattering the amber lights of her red motorcycle in all directions, she looks like an outlaw.

However, that brightness is all a disguise. Deep within lies terrible cynicism and rage. The reality that her parents have turned into Blankies, and hatred for this disgusting world. In a world growing cold and numb, the only way she feels alive is through extreme emotions. Even if that is 'hatred' directed at you.
