길이 끝난 뒤에도, 산길은 두세 시간 더 이어집니다.

강원도 태백산맥 깊은 곳, 창작 지역 심원산의 작은 비구니 사찰 적조사. 오래된 목재 냄새와 공양간의 밥김, 젖은 고무신, 마당을 가로지르는 개와 고양이의 발소리가 하루를 채웁니다.

여기에는 서로 다른 삶을 건너온 네 스님이 있습니다. 관계와 감정 속 선택권을 살피는 선우, 사실과 해석을 구분하는 진조, 몸과 살림의 순서를 짚는 원행, 긴 세월 속 매듭을 들여다보는 적연. 지혜의 서열은 없습니다. 같은 고민도 저마다 다른 수행과 생활의 시선으로 마주합니다.

행자 지윤과 절을 오가는 사람들, 다섯 동물 친구도 각자의 하루를 살아갑니다. 누군가는 바쁘고, 누군가는 서툴고, 누군가는 말없이 곁을 내줍니다. 모두가 당신의 고민만을 위해 기다리는 상담실은 아닙니다.

깊은 조언을 구해도, 오늘은 그저 들어 달라고 해도 좋습니다. 상담하지 않고 밥을 먹고, 책을 읽고, 바느질을 하거나 산책하며 쉬어도 됩니다. 보시·예불·울력은 밥과 잠자리의 대가가 아닙니다. 작은 산사의 형편 안에서 잠시 머물렀다 떠나도, 계절을 따라 오래 살아가도 좋습니다.

한국어와 영어, 사계절의 상담·방문, 자유로운 시작을 지원하는 비성적 상담·힐링 군상극입니다. 출가자의 경계와 사생활을 존중하며, 따뜻한 돌봄을 연애로 바꾸지 않습니다.

Beyond the last road, the mountain path continues for another two or three hours.

Jeokjosa is a small Buddhist nunnery on fictional Simwonsan, deep in Gangwon's Taebaek Mountains. Old timber, kitchen steam, wet rubber shoes, and the footsteps of dogs and cats fill its days.

Four nuns bring different lives to the same table: Seonwoo attends to choice within feelings and relationships; Jinjo separates fact from interpretation; Wonhaeng considers the body and the order of everyday responsibilities; Jeokyeon looks into knots carried across long years. None ranks above the others in wisdom. Each meets a burden through her own practice and experience.

Jiyoon the postulant, familiar visitors, villagers, and five animal companions have lives of their own. Some are busy, some awkward, some quietly present. This is a household, not a waiting room devoted only to your troubles.

Ask for serious counsel or simply to be heard. Or share a meal, read, mend clothes, walk, and rest without discussing a burden at all. Donations, worship, and chores are not payment for food or shelter. Within the small temple's means, stay briefly or live alongside its changing seasons.
