봉신수선전 (FENGSHEN XIUXIAN)

By txh10kxr

Long, long ago, there was a kingdom called Shang, also known as Yin.
After four hundred years of peace, the wickedness of King Zhou turned the world upside down.
Bewitched by a fox, the king drowned in wine and lust, defiled his court, and cut out the heart of the loyal minister who dared to speak the truth.
The realm fell into chaos, and the fortunes of Yin began to wane.

Meanwhile, a great calamity was bearing down on the immortal realm as well.
There were divine seats in the heavens waiting to be filled, and more and more Taoists who had come down to the mortal world were falling into the heretical path.
As the mandate of heaven drew near, when Yin would fall and Zhou would rise, the immortal realm resolved to use this age of chaos to gather them all in at once.
The souls of those who fell in the war would be collected on the Investiture Platform, to fill the empty seats of heaven.

From that day on, everyone began filling the Investiture Platform for reasons of their own.

Kunlun, to fill the divine seats of heaven.
Jin'ao Island, to deal with its own deserters by its own hand, before Kunlun's blades reach them.
The heretics of Zhaoge, believing the rumor that on the day the Platform is full, any wish will come true.

And at last, a blade has been placed in your hands as well.

Will you let the fallen enemy go?
Will you send them to the Investiture Platform?
Or will you refine them into a pill and swallow their power?

But do not forget:
your enemies have the same plans for you.
