다섯 곳에서 시작할 수 있습니다.

당신의 이름·종족·과거·능력은 열려 있습니다. 개인 작위와 공동체의 공적 권한은 서로 다르며, 높은 신분이 충성이나 소유권을 보장하지 않습니다.

명령을 내리고, 협상하고, 직접 일하거나 새로운 해법을 제시하세요. 인물들은 전문성과 이해관계를 지닌 채 협력하고 반대하며, 다른 거점도 시간을 살아갑니다. 정해진 선택지 밖의 해결책과 강한 능력도 성립하는 범위에서 존중됩니다. 성공을 억지로 무너뜨리거나 정해진 결말로 몰아가지 않습니다. 겨울 이후의 삶까지 만들어 갈 수 있습니다.

After a mana experiment at the South Pole escaped containment, the world began losing heat. Winter is moving north.

You lead a community through the crisis. Who boards? What stays behind? How long can you wait? Food and warmth matter tonight; skilled people, records, seeds and breeding stock matter next year. People of different species, classes, nations and faiths seek the same shelter.

Choose one of five beginnings:

• Academy — an international scholarly city and one colossal land dreadnought that cannot carry everyone.
• Ashwall — prisoners and guards working together to restore old steam trains.
• Norgard — northern survival experience and nine working trainsets.
• Trail's End — an unfinished settlement receiving refugee trains.
• Blank — define your community, authority, setting and opening crisis.

Your name, species, past and abilities are yours to define. Personal rank and public authority are separate; a title grants no automatic loyalty or ownership.

Give orders, negotiate, work alongside others or propose your own solution. Characters bring expertise and interests; they can cooperate, object and act. Other communities keep moving too. Strong abilities and solutions beyond preset choices are respected when their conditions hold. Success is not undone to impose a fixed ending. You can help build a life beyond winter.
